SUEA THAI — Spirit of the Tiger draws from the strength, mystery, spirituality, and visual language surrounding the tiger in Thai culture. The artwork brings together expressive watercolor, temple architecture, traditional ornament, sacred-inspired geometry, and the commanding presence of the tiger itself.
The composition is designed as a journey through Thailand rather than a literal scene. Ancient temple forms rise through clouds of ink and pigment. Gold detailing moves across the artwork like fragments of carved ornament. Deep rust, black, ochre, and faded red create the feeling of an aged mural or painted manuscript.
At the center, the tiger turns back with a quiet intensity.
It is not simply depicted as an animal. It represents strength, courage, protection, and untamed spirit — qualities that have long made the tiger a powerful presence in Thai folklore, traditional imagery, and tattoo culture.
